• The metronome consists of four LEDswhich are placed on the left shoulder. When the trainee begins chest compressions,theindicatorofmetronomebecomesredas long astherateofcompressionsisbetween0-60compressions per minute. As the student increases the pace,the indicator changes to yellow when the pace approaching 80 compressions per minute. When the rate is between 80-100 a green light turns on. Just the pace do100 to 120compressions per minute then two green indicators activated. Finally, when the rate is greater than 120 chest compressions together with the two green indicators a yellow one flashes.

Patented where the head tilts to open the airway (head extension), the PRESTAN Adult Professional Dummy simulates the way a real victim's head will be lifted if CPR is required. Blows of the trained lung in the sac (adult lung simulation) are only achieved when the head is raised in the correct manner. Then and only then does the chest rise from the air entering the lung sac become apparent. In addition, the unique construction of the PRESTAN adult dummy incorporates a mechanism (clicker) that helps to apply the correct force of chest compressions. This mechanism (clicker) includes an audio message of correct chest compression (mechanical click) while being combined with the light metronome.

Finally, the skin of the PRESTAN ADULT proforma in addition to the realistic human texture is ideal for defibrillation training with an automatic external defibrillator as it has the property of protecting the electrodes from wear in each use.
