To facilitate the assembly of the equipment with the bands, Actual has established an elongation ratio between the initial length of the band, which is nothing but when it is at rest, and its maximum length, when the equipment reaches the specified force limit . The bands have a safety margin, so that there is no risk of breaking.
When the band reaches this length, the internal safety cable kicks in, preventing the tire from exceeding the specified length and force measurement. Actual is a pioneer in the use of this system in traction equipment.
