What makes FOX40 the best?

A stragal whistle creates the sound by the movement of the small feline stragal inside, alternately closing and opening the hole where the air escapes. This process produces a rapid alternation of sound and silence, the characteristic "vibrato" hiss – until the straggler sticks in the hole.

The FOX40 Whistle without Crook is more like a harmonic instrument as it produces 3 slightly different frequencies at the same time.
